Pink Prom 2018

Pink Prom 2018

Every year it is estimated that over 252,710 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 40,500 will die; one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her life time; on average, every two minutes, a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer and one woman will die of breast cancer every 13 minutes.

Elyse Pantke was one of the unfortunate many who lost their battle against breast cancer.

Yet, even after her passing, her family continues to battle for her, and others like her, through the Elyse Pantke White Foundation, in the name of Elyse.

Every year, the Elyse Pantke White Foundation hosts the Pink Prom, a fundraising event to raise funds for cancer research and to stop tragedies from breast cancer from happening again.

However, this is not an event for mourning or sorrows; it a time to enjoy the company of others and enjoy life, as Elyse, because every second with every person matters.
