Couple weeks back the "Band" went "glamping".....
Here at the studio, we are generally working our asses off round the clock, 6+ days a week. Camping is something we can all agree that we love, but there usually isn't much time to high tail it away into the wilderness. So when the opportunity presented itself, we packed up our shit and headed out into the mountains for a one night stand with nature.
Our friend Min from New York had literally never been into the mountains before. Her awestruck reaction was all time. She stood out on the cliff and stared in the lush foliage for a good 15 mins while we set up camp. It definitely reminded me to appreciate our surroundings that we take for granted.
One of our latest additions to the studio, Steph Kirk, guided us up to an old family camp spot atop American Fork Canyon. The winding roads of the canyon were both beautiful and exciting to smash up. We then cut off of the beaten path onto a dirt road into the rolling grass fields. We stopped at an overlook and rewarded our travels into the wilderness with some refreshing libations. Moving on, we made it to our final destination. Everyone set up camp and continued to drink. We took pictures, finalized camp and began making some hobo dinners. The sky was full of stars and our circle was full of laughs.
